Sometimes when you run
there is no place to hide
you can't get away from the pain
that is etched deep inside
Sometimes when you cry
a teardrop doesn't fall
it doesn't mean you're not sad
it's not that way at all
Sometimes when you're angry
it's the pain you're letting out
but people see it differently
and don't know what it's all about
Sometimes when you're all alone
no one to calm your fears
that's when the pain really hurts
there's no holding back the tears
